How can I kick my exgirlfriend out of my house?
She is trouble. I have had enough of her, and it is time for her to go. When I mentioned to her that she needs to find another place to live, she FLIPPED OUT. She then ranted that she "gets mail here" and she "has her personal belongings here". She has lived with me for 2 years, 100% rent and utilities FREE. Unknown to me until recently, she in fact Has received mail here. I asked her why she is and she said that she filed a change of address from her PO box to my house I

So you admit she has lived with you for 2 years. So she is a resident and has to be treated like any tenant. You couldn't just "kick" her out in any case.

You give her written notice to vacate, the amount of time you have to give her depends on local laws (ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area. ) If she still refuses to vacate then you file in your local housing court for an eviction order.

Thank you much ScottGem. You don't waste any time. I should have stated my location. It is Long Beach, CA. Thanks for your response. I will do that. Do you happen to know of any website where I can download and print a 100% legal 30 day notice?

Actually in CA since she has been there 2 years, it's a 60 day notice. But the notice is simple:

    To <insert name>

This is to inform you that your residence at <insert address> will be terminated as of <insert date 60 days in future>. Please be sure to vacate the premises by that date.

If you have not done so, I will be forced to file for an eviction order.

That should be all you need. Of course you can Google CA lease termination notice and find some more official looking notices.
