My son was adopted out after I fought dhs to have my son back and for dhs not to terminate my parental they terminated my parental rights anyway... and he was legally adopted out.. how old does he have to be before he can come home after he's legally adopted out is it 16yrs old or does he have to wait till he's 18 now? Please help or a little advice thanks...

What is your location as it makes a huge difference to the advice.

In most places 18 is the age of majority and he would be under the control of his adoptive parents until then.

BTW, I think this sheds some light on your other question. Clearly something happened at some point in time to prompt DHS to remove your son from your home. I wonder if whatever that was had something to do with the store banning you.
