Hi m recently married.I have irregular periods, average periods cycle length is 40-44 days. I had my last periods on march 29. I just want to know if I'm pregnant or not? I had home test today but it was negative. I also had pain in my nipples even sesitive to touch them?

You should know an irregular menstrual cycle also means an irregular ovulation cycle. Have you been seen by a doctor to find the cause of your irregular periods so that you could receive treatment and be more ready hormonally to become pregnant? The main cause of irregular menses is a hormonal imbalance treated in one way by giving you contraceptives to get you regulated. There are numerous other causes too, including stress. However, if you are now pregnant the issue with irregular menses can be determined after you have the baby. Try waiting a week and take the Pg test again, unless that is, you are seeing a doctor soon. Take care of yourself…

Wouldn't it be nice if you could go online to find out if you're pregnant? It would save a lot of worry, money, and time. Sadly, it's not possible. The only way to determine pregnancy is with your urine or blood. We don't have access to that, and please, don't send it to us. ;)

If you had a negative pregnancy test then it could just be too early to test. Wait another week or more, then test again. Make sure to follow the directions exactly, use first morning urine, and read it during the time frame stipulated on the test. If it's still negative and you still don't get your period, then a visit to your doctor for a more accurate blood test would be my next step.

Until then you'll have to play the waiting game.
