    Short sale issue
I was apporved for short sale and so was buyer. I have letter to that effect. Therefore I moved and left job. Closing date was set and then postponed numerous times. Account was transferred to another negotiator during thia time. After 3 months my buyer walked who I had a contract with from last August. Now I have no job no medical and no buyer. Can I sue the bank?

Why would you think you could do that? All contracts have an experation date... none are good forever... particularly after 3 months... rarely are they valid longer than 30 days. I would walk if I couldn't get title to a property within 30 days... much less being on the hook for 90 days or longer.
Why was you unable to complete this in 30 days if you both had approval?

Sounds like foreclosure is your only option.

I don't understand what no job and no medical have to do with the bank.

No buyer: several sub-questions come to mind:

    • What is the measure of your damages?
    • If the short sale was approved, what was said about the closing date? Who was to do what by when?
