Engine was running fine dropped the left cylinder. Spark and compression
Seem to be good. What's going on?

26 hp twin briggs on a rider. Starts and shuts off right-o-way. Have to use full chock to get it to start, fuel 1/2, spark, new fuel pump,plugs and carb clean and solinoid clicks open with key.
Could it be bad fuel ? Or other suggestions.

Hi,
An unusual question, but did you put the washer that fits between the solenoid and the float bowl back when you reassembled? It is critical for the solenoid opening far enough.
