    Paying car loans early
I saw on TV about people who paid car loans off early were entitled to a refund. Does anyone know anything about this?

    Hello:

There is a company advertising on TV who say's that people paid PMI (or its equivilant) on all their loans and are entitled to get it back when they pay their loan off early.

It's true, people who have home mortgages pay PMI and are entitled to a refund if they sell or pay off their loan early. However, I have never heard of anyone paying PMI (or its equivilant) for a car loan or furniture loan. So, if they don't pay it, they're not entitled to any of it back.

Therefore, I believe the company advertising these kinds of things, are scammers.
