    Steps to proving the trig identity
    (1+csc^2x) / (1+cscx) = (1+sinx) / sinx

    I already attempted doing this and I basically got the right answer, except I got

    sinx+1 / sinx instead of 1+sinx/sinx

    There seems to be a typo in your question - the expression:



    equals neither nor

    Please check the expression the equation that you're working on..
