Steps to proving the trig identity

(1+csc^2x) / (1+cscx) = (1+sinx) / sinx

I already attempted doing this and I basically got the right answer, except I got

sinx+1 / sinx instead of 1+sinx/sinx

There seems to be a typo in your question - the expression:

$<br /> \frac {(1+ csc^2x)} {1 + csc x}<br />$

equals neither $\frac {1 + \sin x}{\sin x}$ nor $\sin x + \frac 1 {\sin x}$

Please check the expression the equation that you're working on..
