I have no spark,, motor will not start.
Need a procedure to check out electrical system.
What steeps do I take.
This is a 2 cyl. Vanguard motor
When I put it away last year it worked.
This year went to start it no spark.
I am stuck.

Hi,
Check around the governor linkage/control plate to make sure that the ground switch is not contacted by the linkage. Be my guess that the ignition is grounded all the time.
