Why would a chihuahua have green eyes?
My mom purchased a chihuahua a couple weeks ago and we noticed he has green eyes. I know that some animals will have pink eyes meaning blind, and blue meaning deaf. Is there anything like that for this chihuahua?

What can I give a chihuahua who is constipated?

Pink eyes doesn't mean blind and blue doesn't mean deaf in general. Many breeds such as Huskies and Australian Shepherds commonly have blue eyes. It is possible that the eye colors may be commonly associated with those defects in Chihuahuas. Some yellow and chocolate labs have yellow or green eyes, so I guess a Chihuahua could too.

The best thing for any constipated dog is a vet appointment. Giving a dog with an obstructed bowel a laxative could kill it. I can practically count on my thumbs the times it is a good idea to give a dog medicine, other than at the direction of a vet.

My Chihuahua has brown eyes, but all around there is a line of bright blue. Color doesn't mean anything. Just like a human, animals can have any color to their eyes!

No sorry green eyes are not rare.
It's just a genetic mutation, and quite common in certain breeds as well as lighter colored or merle dogs. The pink noses is just from lack of pigment.

A vet is the best place to bring a constipated dog. When I go camping with my dogs I always bring along a can of pumpkin. Mix it in with the regular food and watch diarrhea and constipation resolve.
