Is oxycodone going to show up as the same thing as oxycontin would in urine screening?
They are for all practical purposes the same. Oxycontin is oxycodone in time release form.
Drug tests, at the confirmatory level, look for the metabolite oxymorphone to identify. The basic drug screens usually do not detect oxycodone, but can if using a very low cutoff, 100ng/ml or under, then it registers in the opiate class. If detected at the screen level, then it advances to the confirmation step.
