my 1 yr male dog cries out randomnly and the cries became worrisome some few days ago when he cried all night disturbing the neighbourhood.

Are we to assume your dog IS outdoors at all times? Or is he indoors in an apartment complex or similar?

If you have a puppy which cry's all night try putting toy puppy dog with it sometimes comforts them because there used to being with there litter.
Do not give in to your puppy or it will always do this ( be strong).
If your dog is adult & cry's usually down to change in the household ie; bedding arrangement or possibly new surroundings sometimes it could be telling you its in pain.
