You either had sex or you did not have sex, here is no "sorta" he either entered you, or he did not enter you. So if he entered you, then you are no longer a virgin.

We've had this question so many times, and it's lead to some interesting debates on what virginity really is.

It really depends on what you define as virginity.

For me, any type of sex, that means oral, anal, and vaginal, means that you're no longer a virgin. A lot of girls think that if their hymen is still intact, that means they're a virgin. Sex is sex. Bill Clinton learned that the hard way.

Fact is, what you just did can lead to pregnancy, even if he didn't "enter all the way". So I would say that you're definitely not a virgin. Your hymen may still be intact, but that doesn't matter.

But that's my opinion, and like I said, this subject has been debated before.

Well I can say from personal experience, you could still be a virgin...
My boyfriend and I have been together for pretty much a year now and he was my first..
The first time we went to have sex his penis entered but didn't go all the way in, as I pulled out. I two thought I was no longer a virgin until we went to have sex again when we were actually doing it we then realised..

So there is a possibility that you are still a virgin..

You seem to be basing virginity on a hymen, and whether it's intact. That's the whole crux of the debate.

Let me put it this way. Do you think that oral sex is sex? If you do, and you give a guy oral sex, or you receive oral sex, then by the very definition of sex, you are no longer a virgin, even though your hymen would still be intact.

In other words, the very act of penis entering vagina, even if it didn't "go all the way in", would mean that the OP is no longer a virgin, even though her hymen may still be intact.

A hymen is not sole proof of virginity, or proof of loss of virginity. Many girls are born without a hymen, or their hymen breaks before they have sex (riding a bike, a horse, falling the wrong way). A hymen can break during other activities other than sex, and there's more to being sexually active then a broken hymen.

To me, virginity has always meant "not knowing," not having experienced any form of it. If I'm a virgin when it comes to bike riding, that means I have never even been ON a bike, much less ridden one. Once I am on a bike, whether riding on the handlebars or on the back fender or wobbling along as the cyclist, I am no longer a virgin when it comes to bike riding.

This is a serious Q&A site. We have standards for giving accurate answers here. If there is penile insertion then you lost virginity. Period, End of story. Please be more careful about the accuracy of the advice you post.
