    Squeaky Moen L2352 shower faucet
The faucet is a single handle that you turn to get the water on. When you turn it on it squeaks and does not turn smoothly. It came with the house and is about 10 years old. Any idea how to fix the squeak and make it turn smoothly again?

Well if it's a faucet with a cap and a screw undeneath it, I would take the faucet off and use a penetrant or a light grease and reassemble it, keeping in mind not to tighten it too hard this time.

I don't think I explained it properly. The handle turns on the water and also controls the temperature of the water and also makes sure the temperature stays where you set it should someone say flush the toilet. The handle rotates the arm it is fastened to so it seems like it must be more than just a handle.
