Anyone know the name of a Late 70' or early 80's cartoon. Its set in space and the main character has or gets a broken sword. The film bad guy kills the heroes girlfriend at the start when they are both slaves, I think they are mining. He escapes and meets a space pirate and this pirate has a female robot sidekick. I don't think it was a children's cartoon?
