How do I drop a child support case in Hudson County
2wks ago I filed for child support for my son. Me and his father have now come to an agreement and no longer want to proceed with our court date. How do I stop it? Can we both not show up to court or do we still need to go?

Why not just go and present your agreement to a judge ? That way there can be standing orders and you don't have to go through all of this at another time.

Agree, and I will be blunt, your agreement will do good most likely for a little bit, then he will stop paying and there is no real enforcement.

You as the custody parent have no protection unless it is court ordered. And most likely this agreement cheats you greatly out of money. But I agree at the least, take this agreement and have ti signed by the judge, Your current agreement is not binding, and can not be enforced since it is not issued by the court.
