Will the city help pay for sewer hook up?
I am having a house built and there is no sewer on my lot. The sewer main is about 400ft away for my lot. I was not sure if the city would help pay to add lines up to my lot

Not usually... but you can always ask them.

I have never seen them do it, you can ask, but normally you have to pay all of the fees for it.

If the sewer extension would benefit just one lot I can't see them extending the main. In my area you would be required to install a septic system. However. Like the others say. It never hurts to ask. Good luck, Tom
