I'm 27 Weeks & 5 days pregnant, I smoked marijuana throughout my whole first trimester & most of my second. I stopped smoking 10 days ago, my third trimester starts in 2 days, I'm taking azo cranberry two pills by mouth twice a day, my question to you is since I'm just starting my third trimester when my baby is born will he test positive for marijuana or will the placenta be flushed?

Its probibly going to be negatively effected for its entire life even if you do somehow manage to test clean... those are critical developmental periods for the baby.

If the doctor decides to do a meconium drug test your baby will test positive for marijuana. However, this is a costly test and most doctors will not test for it unless there is a reason to do so.
