Caught driving on suspended license in AZ
OK question if you have caught driving on suspended license, and the person car you driving is your mate. Your mate at home. The car get towed. The question is do the person who owes the car. Will they get in trouble 4 letting the suspended driver driving the car. Do you get penalized as well.

Yes and if they let some idiot with a suspended license drive the car... and they kill someone... they get sued as well because they became party to the incident by loaning the car and the fact their car was involved as well as the person who actually did it. The driver is liable for criminal as well as civil penalties... and the owner for civil penalties. If the car gets impounded.. (and it should be) someone pays those fees or they don't get it back.

You can go to jail for driving on a suspended license (and I think they all should when caught).. I've seen several people handcuffed and taken to jail for a year directly from traffic court for driving on a suspended license.

They will not get a fine from the police, but they will have to pay the towing charge, storage fees for every day it is stored, they will need proof of ownership, proof of insurance and a valid drivers license to pick the car up.

I agree with Chuck about the likely result will be the owner needs to pay to get the car back. Of course you can reimburse your mate for the costs.
