    Mysterious release of water
I go to work, come home and find a pool of water( about two cups) on the floor of my bathroom that has run out of the vanity. No visible leaks or drips when I inspect. Appears to be a pressure release of some type. Faucet is new.

Where is the water standing in relation to bathroom fixtures ? It could be loose sink trap or dripping angle stop. Any recent plumbing work in that bathroom ? Back to you. Milo

So you have checked the ceiling I assume. Lay newspaper or tissue all over the floor to help track the direction of the water, also line the floor of you sink cabinet if you have one.

Is this a condo, apartment or single family residence? Back to you. Tom
