    Offset tub shoe
I am installing a clawfoot bathtub, the drain opening in the tub from end to end is in the middle of the tub, from front to back the opening is just behind the centerline of the tub, the bottom of the tub angles up slightly at the drain opening. If I install a standard tub shoe (piece that connects to drain opening and goes back to the tee to connect overflow & vertical drain line) that forms a right angle, the shoe angles up from the drain approximately 5/8" in the 6-8" that it goes towards the back and makes it very difficult if not impossible to connect the overflow at the odd angle. Is a shoe available that has a 5-10 degree angle built in to the mounting area of the shoe to keep the extension pipe level?

    Hi Chris...

Nope, no angled tub waste like you are looking for, but you may be able to make your own beveled washer here. It will definitely take some creativity, but it can be done!

With that being said, I'd sure like a picture of this tub. See, here, between me and Tom, we've installed tons of old claw foot cast iron tubs... shouldn't really be the issue you are suggesting, so I'd like to see more or at a minimum, give us a name/manufacturer and model number on the tub... see what we can come up with after that, OK?
