After being broke up for almost a year, my ex has finally found her own place (she had been living with her parents and friends). She came to get the "big" stuff out of our house over the weekend and she said some pretty mean things. One thing she said really hurt me. She said that I betrayed her and that I'm like every other person she has dated. We lived together for about two years and I honestly had plans on marrying her and starting our own family. We had got our own home and I thought we were starting down that path. Somewhere along the way I started to not love her anymore. Once I told her, of course, he was mad. Do I deserve to feel bad for telling her the truth? She is mad because now she feels like she has to "start over" and that she wasted her time with me waiting to get married.

You were true to yourself, and you were honest about how you truthfullly felt.

The only alternative in not telling her, would have been to live a lie, marry her, have children, and eventually realize that you had made a huge mistake.

Love can conquer many things, but if it isn't there, there is nothing to build from, together.

I hope in time that she will realize that you being honest, was not intended to hurt her, but, it is better, was better, than living a lie.
