My boyfriend of 9 months finished it two weeks ago, which made me heart broken. He says he doesn't know if he could love again, as he was hurt before so was I. The first week he rang and text me. Then on the Monday he was seen with his ex. Then on Saturday night I was out with friends in my local pub, and he was there with her. I felt so humiliated, and hurt. All my friends said I've had a lucky escape as he's into drugs. I just can't seem to get my head round why they have got back now after splitting up for a year.

Sure it hurts but this was going on for a while before you found out, and for sure you are well rid of this guy. Still sucks though, I know, but it makes way for something a lot better when you are ready.

Everyone gets hurt, it is normal. You need to give yourself time to heal, everything will be all right. Go no contact as best you can, what he does or doesn't do is no longer any of your business, it is time to move on. The longer you hold on, the more miserable you will be, even if short term you feel like it helps, it really doesn't. Personal Experience.

You have friends... rely on them, ask them to take you everywhere even if you are no fun for a while. What are friends for at times like this??
