My boyfriend and I have been going through a rough patch these pass three months and my ex-boyfriend because of this rough patch with my boyfriend has now become my best friend. He has told me whenever I need him he will be there for me and I have tested him on that on more than one occasion.

All of my feelings for my ex has returned but he has a girlfriend that he has told me he wants to be with. I told him how I feel. Yes! I told him I Love him and he has told me he never stopped loving me, but we can't be together right now.

Every time I look at my boyfriend I regret ever getting into a relationship with him. Every time I look and my ex I regret ever breaking up with him.

This weekend my ex celebrated his birthday and he spent all of his free time with his girlfriend even after I asked him to let me take him out for his birthday.

What should I do? My ex and I dated for 10 years 8 months. My boyfriend and I having been dating for 2 years and 10 months.

He was trying to be a friend, you would not accept just that You will by pushing your feelings, most likely ruin your friendship, not get him as a boyfriend, and lose your current boyfriend.

So step away from both, one has a girlfriend and does not want you as one, the other obviously you don't really want.
