I started taking birth control late march and at the end of April I had a 13 day period, and I ran out of birthcontrol right before it, so 7 days ago I went to my doctor and got yasmin (I switched from oral tricyclen lo I bkeieve it was called) so I've taken my pulls every day at tge same time and I think I accidenty took two in one day, so in the last 7 days I've taken 8 pills. Tonight I had unprotected sex, and I'm a little worried. Is 7 days enough for it to become affective after I went a whole 15 days(my period and the time it took me to go to the doctor) not on it? Should I get a plan b pill?

My doctor always told me to wait at least two weeks from when I started taking pills. But she also told me for the first month to have a second because method to use for the first month or two just in case.
