    Opinions please about menopause and periods
    I am 35 years old and I'm wanting to know if possibly I could be starting the beginning stages of Menopause.

    My periods have been strange the last few months. One month I had one then didn't for 2 months and now I'm 2 weeks late again... What could it be,

    I have had a tubal

    It's possible you could be experiencing the beginning of perimenopause. It can take several years of this stage prior to actually entering menopause.

    Basically in perimenopause you experience strange periods such as being late and/or skipping months. Once you miss a period for an entire year you are considered in menopause.

    It might be in your best interests to make an appointment with your doctor to have your FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) levels checked. If they are above 35 it's quite possible you are entering this stage in your life.

    Emotional swings can be caused by a number of ailments. Cannot say for sure if it's due to your hormonal levels or not. Only a blood test will be able to answer your questions completely.
