Okay, First of you are looking for answers because you are unsure of your future without a person in your life. Quite honestly though an ex boyfriend is an ex for a reason. The responsiblilty will always be on the father for the children no matter what, but it does not sound like he is much of a presence and you and the children are better off in my opinion. Does not mean there is no man in the future. Just be patient and focus on your children right now. They are a gift. It will not always be easy but that is how we grow stronger as a person.
