I have a craftsman riding lawn mower, model 917270732, and I was wondering which way the brake lever gets put on and wher one of the brake return springs goes?

Here is a link to the manual and page 36 shows that part of the machine's parts. The spring attaches to the frame at the v-shaped arm and the front of the frame( #55 )
