    Can boyfriend kick me out
My boyfriend and I have lived together for 18 years and have 2 kids. Now he wants to kick me out of the house because he has a mid-life crisis thing going on and a 25 year old is showing him some attention. Can he legally just move me out without notice? Btw he said he doesn't want the kids either. We live in Illinois.

First, its not a good idea to piggyback your question on another thread. To avoid conusion I've moved your question to its own thread.

No, he cannot move you out without notice. But if he owns the property he can give you 30 days notice to vacate.

I would contact a lawyer, having cohabitated for 18 years including having 2 children may give you some rights as a common law spouse.

First you file for child custody and child support, You have much less rights to property division and being evicted since you are not married.

But who owns the house ? If rented or leased, who or whose name or names is on the lease.
All of this has a bearing
