"i have had the IUD for 4 years now and it has been wonderful my periods stopped and never got pregnant.. I have always been able to feel my string but for the past few weeks I have not been able to and one of the guys said he couldn't feel it either Now I have all the signs that I am and about 6 people who knew me when I was pregnant with my first 2 say I look like I did with them.. I have also been feeling flutter like movements for the past couple of weeks. Any help is appreciated..

Hi Jessi,

You need to get to the doctors as soon as you can, if your periods have stopped due to the IUD and it has now been lost you could have carried on having intercourse thinking you were protected and become pregnant on the next ovulation, then of course had no further bleeding, in which case it could have happened at any time these past months, movement is usually felt around the 5th month of pregnancy although sometimes sooner, so if you are pregnant and have been for a while you will need to see the doctor as soon as you can and they will probably send you for an emergency scan to check everything is OK, first things first they will check if your IUD is still there but still, phone your doctor soon as you can, good luck!
