Hi I have a shower that hasn't been used in over 6 months and now there is no water coming from the shower head or tub. We have hard water, I don't know if that would have any thing to do with it. I am not sure whwere to start to find out what the problem is. The toilet and sink work just fine

So shower tub combo and not a drop out of the spout either? Unless someone closed a valve somewhere your valve is 100% clogged, quite rare to be 100%

Is there any tricks to clear it out?
First.
Shut the water off to the valve and open it up. Remove the cartridge and check and clean the inlet ports. Now turn the water back on for a minute to flush out the supplies. Did you get a strong stream? If yes then reassemble and test. Better now? Good luck, Tom
