    My former boss has stated that she has charged me with fraud...

    Hire a lawyer... if they charged you with fraud... that implies they have done so with the legal authorities. You are going to need a lawyer if that happened and it wasn't just a threat they never followed up on.

    They do not "charge" you, they report it to the police. The police will review the evidence he presents them. Using the evidence, they may take it to a grand jury and get a warrant for you, or they may come and talk to you first.

    You should not talk to police or anyone without an attorney, remember the police may lie to you as to what evidence they have to get you to confess.

    This advice is solid no matter if you are guilty or not.
