I remember the movie was possibly on the scifi channel. It started with the ship spraying the atmosphere with stuff then it lands in a lake of lava and gets stuck and sinks about a billion years before. Then the time line shifts to now and there are a group of people on a drilling or mining platform or station in the arctic or Antarctica . They drill down and hit the ship one alien is in it and he gets loose and starts killing a few of the people. I think the hot girl dies first he kills her and then turns her into a gel of some sort. A few of the crew go down the hole to the ship and find hieroglyphs depicting a race of aliens farming humans and the find a blue gel that heals all things wrong with the human body the main actor takes a large sample of it and they return to the surface. They find the alien is wreaking havic. So they find a way to force it back down the hole and use explosive to shut it back down in the ship. Not before it plants a dish like thing in the ground out side the base where it tries sending a signal back to the rest of them to say here is dinner kind of thing. This movie was not the thing or aliens I have got that manny times from other sights

Quinn, omg I been searching for this film for over 10 years, I saw it on TV all the time but never saw the name and could never find it in Google, I know it's a cheesy film buts its been driving me crazy and I been wanting to see it again for so long, thank's so much, you are a god!
