    Unable to maintain erection?
Hi. I'm 25 years old and I'm having a problem keeping an erection right before sex. I'm recently divorced and getting back into dating and I've never had an issue with an erection with my ex wife. I can stay hard during foreplay such as rubbing other things. But just as I'm about to have intercourse I go soft. I have th same issue with receiving oral sex I'm hard for ainute maybe to then I'm soft again. Please any information is greatly appreciated.

Sounds as though you might be experiencing performance anxiety. Do you have any health issues? Are you on any medication?

No health issues I recently quit smoking after 8 years. I also don't last very long during sex which is always how I've been.

Might be the system shock of quitting smoking. How's the masturbation going? Any problems there?

At first blush I think it might be psychological, getting a divorce can be a little... hard WRT to some aspects of life. You're brain might still be in the "I am married and cheating on my wife" mode.

Get a physical from your doctor explaining the issue and go from there.

Well I masturbate just one no issues there and I've been with several women since my divorce. It's just recently this has started. I had a similar problem like this when I started dating my ex wife 6 years ago but now it's popped back up

I would talk to your doctor about this. Unless you're on some medication that is causing this. You might need a little counseling for this too.

Should I consult a general doctor or some sort of specialist?

General doctor is a good start. It may well just be nerves unless there is a underlying issue like prostrate problems ( often sex problems is a first sign) But a doctor is a good place to start.

    Hihello
I think you should go to the doctor because it can be serious and maybe it could be because you quit smocking
