TV shows that I record the night before and watch them when I get home

Is this a DVR like device? Can you put a password on the recorder? Or is this a DVD recorder? If ita a DVR from your cable provider, who pays the bills?

To answer your question; you don't have a case to sue her. It is a petty nuisance, not a cause of action.

If you don't like it, move.

Is it your DVR, or common use ? Perhaps get your own, have it stored in your room and don't allow them access to it.
