Can you get a false positive on a home pregnancy test?
Some women might if they have been using certain fertility meds to become pregnant. Most often a "false" positive is from reading the test result after the time frame stated on the test. For example, some women might see that nothing comes up, set it down, and come back to look at it an hour later. A faint line may now be showing, but it would be considered invalid.
If someone isn't taking certain fertility medications, read the test in the time limit stated on the test (often just the first few minutes), and got an obvious positive... they are pregnant.
