My garage is 25x40 I have plans to expand the length to 58 feet the wall is not a bearing wall. Would it be possible to move the entire wall studs and plywood, in one piece since the windows are going to be in the same place. Is this cheaper then tearing it apart, tossing it all in the dumpster and start fresh?

If u cut the wall into 3 pieces u would be able to move it. I would remove windows to keep them from breaking. If this is a gable end wall will have to remove gable above wall. When cutting, cut along side of a stud. When putting back together, add a stud to secure plywood and replace top plate. This could be done by 2 people.

The end wall may not be considered load bearing but it helps to hold the two bearing walls from splaying out. The moment you cut out that wall your garage will shift and become unstable. You are better off to frame the new wall and then salavge the windows

Thanks for your answers. There are trusses above the wall in question and I plan on replacing the two windows with taller ones. Shouldn't the trusses keep the garage from splaying out?

Use a couple of braces going from the walls that are staying to the floor. This will aid in keeping building shifting.
