Had to take swab test for probation. An oral swab test.

Did heroin about 13 days ago and smoked some codeine about 9 or 10 days before.

Will I pass? Very worried and scared.

As well you need to be, it is most likely someone has turned you in, for them to do this as a "random" test. Are you in a drug treatment program ?

No. If I fail I'm doing 3 and a half years in jail. I know I need help. I just need to know if I will pass this test and have the chance to do something with my life!

The oral swab will pick up neither at that that time span.

Now you have the chance to do something about it... what do you have planned?

I need to get into some kind of rehab. I've been trying to convince my family to put me in inpatient rehab but they won't pay any money and think I can do it on my own. I know I have to be strong minded but I need professional help and don't know what to do. I know that getting high to cope with my negative emotions is no longer an option.

So there's no way of failing a probation swab test at that time? And what do you recommend I should do to get help?

Since you are on probation and being drug tested I would imagine that there is a program available through the courts via the probation office. Most have them. It isn't necessary to acknowledge use only that you don't want to use.

The oral swabs don't have a long detection period. I'm surprised they chose that over urine.
