I have a 1996 dodge caravan with 3.0 v6 my speedometer will go crazy and the engine loses power and appears to misfire what is my problem ?

Thoughts:

. Test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter.

. Check/replace the VSS.

. Check the distributor.

. Replace the spark plugs (Champion only) with the same ones that originally came with the vehicle, if they have over 50,000 miles or 3 years on them. Set gap to spec.
