I'm 17 and my boyfriend and I are sexuAlly active and have been for about 5 months but I am on the pill and he always wears a condom all last month I've been having weird things happen and now my period accordin to my pack of pills was supposed to come last week bu it didn't so we had sex Friday 2 days ago then yesterday I finally got what I think might be my period but I don know its like the lightest period I've ever had at first it starts with a light to dark brown orangish and barely anything and now it's little drips of blood but there's not even really a dot in my pad for the whole day I'm kind of worries and I know that can effect my period too but I just am worried and don't know If I'm worries about nothing or if I should take a test I don't know help please!

Of course many women get pregnant on birth control and using condoms, while it is much harder to get pregnant, it is very possible. Remember birth control only reduces the chance and it does not completely stop it from happening.

This is a possible sign of it, Perhaps you may want to even wait and see what next months period does, if it comes no issue, if no period, then test. Or wait about two weeks and try a test using first urine of the morning.

Yes, sperm can go through clothing, which is why condoms aren't made of cloth.

It's unlikely that the female would get pregnant if you didn't penetrate, and you were fully clothed, but, it's not impossible. Still, you'd have a better chance winning the lottery.

But again, someone has to win the lottery. If you don't want to win the pregnancy lottery, I suggest you play a bit safer. By safer, I mean condoms, or the pill. Both is better. But, I have to warn you, even if she's on the pill and you use a condom, if you two have sex, pregnancy is still possible.

The only way for the two of you to avoid pregnancy 100% is to not have sex, and to stop playing adult games you're not ready for.

If it's both, that's fine. But in one thread (question) you said you were sexually active, in the other you made it sound like you were just dry humping, and that sex wasn't involved. If you can't see how the answers may be different from one to the other, then you need to re-take sex education.

The fact is, you're sexually active. Even with protection pregnancy is possible. So, if your period is late, or not normal, pregnancy is a concern. Sadly, there's really nothing you can do but wait and see.

And to answer your question, yes, dry humping (and it's really not dry humping if he ejaculates) can cause pregnancy. It's a small chance, but there is a chance. Any time sperm gets near the vagina, pregnancy is possible.

I'm glad you're smart. You'll need to be if you're going to be a 17 year old mom. Those are the facts, like them or not.

You may be a brilliant teen, but I've lived through my teen years, and I am a mom. I'm a college graduate, and I've been working since I was 13 years old. Do you really want to play the "who's smarter" game, because at 17, I can tell you, you won't win, no matter how brilliant you are.
