Need help coming up with name of old western I saw around mid 70s - Indians wore gold bands on their arms, a gold vein was discovered in the mtns & an Indian woman was shot with an arrow & sacrificed off a cliff.

Might it have been, Mackenna's Gold a 1969 western film directed by J. Lee Thompson. The plot appears to be about the same.
