    Pregnancy or stress/paranoid
Me and my boyfriend had sex on out year anniversary 3/18. Now we always have protected sex because I am very cautious when it comes on to pregnancy. But on this particular day (3/18) he went in me with no condom for approx. 10-15 sec. then we played around then he went back in for the same amount of time with no condom. Then he put a condom on and we had sex for about 1-1 1/2 hrs. we went through about 4 condoms with none breaking. Then we took a shower and he went in me with no condom in the shower for the same amount of time (10-15 seconds). Now I haven't gotten my period yet and it is April 28th. I've taken 5 pregnancy test all came out negative (used EPT(2test) then First Response(3test) ) all the test came out negative. Took each a week a part and the last on 2 weeks after. I still do not have my period. Am I pregnant or is it the stress of thinking I'm pregnant that is pulling my period back. PLEASE HELP ANSWERS ASAP. WOULD APPRECIATE IT DEARLY
    Thank you

You had unprotected sex - of course you could be pregnant. Protection is not 100%. Without protection -?

It could be stress or you could be pregnant. Either make an appointment with your physician OR ask your Pharmacist to recommend a specific HPT.

    Pre- can cause pregnancy.

Never a good idea to have re-entry after there has been an ejaculation. Anytime you have an unprotected penis in you, the chance of pregnancy will increase. For future reference, the time to put a condom on is prior to any and all penetration. Even then, as JudyKayTee stated, you are not 100% protected.

When was your last period and are they normally regular? You could see your doctor about having a blood test done, or you could wait several more days and try another pregnancy test at home. Make sure that you follow the directions carefully.

If you test again at home, and the result is negative, wait and see what happens when your period would be due for May and test again at that time if necessary. Certainly see your doctor sooner if you feel that you experience any other possible pregnancy symptoms.

My last period was on February 24th ended February 29th. Then I took Plan B on March 3rd (I was scared because the condom ripped when he pulled out) and I got my period again 1 week after on March 7th. So that was strange. I thought it was the side effect of the Plan B pill. So that period ended on March 11th. That was my last period. I haven't gotten my period yet.

Also, he did not ejaculate then go back in me with no condom. When he went in me in the shower, it was 2 hours after having sex, we went to the pool and publix. He also washed himself before going in me.

The off cycles could be due to the plan b and plan b often will cause some bleeding soon after using it. Try a pregnancy test now. If it is positive, you will want to start on prenatal care with a midwife or OB. If it is negative, see what happens with your period in May. If the plan b caused a disruption in your cycle, it should be back on track by that time. If still no period... see your doctor.

Thank you so much for your early responses. And is there a particular HPT you would recommend?

It is possible that enough sperm were present in his penis at any time you had unprotected sex. It just isn't worth the risk of an unplanned pregnancy.

    Yes your right.
Is there a recommended home pregnancy test I should take other than EPT and First Response?

First Response Early Result is considered one that is very sensitive and can be purchased at Publix. Even the dollar store will have some that are quite good.
There are a number of choices that are quite good. Some women prefer the sort that will show "pregnant" "not pregnant" instead of lines, finding them easier to read. Many of the tests you can buy are as sensitive as what are used in the doctor's office.

Update from this afternoon. I've taken my 6th pregnancy test. Came out negative again. When I ripped, I saw some blood (light). Could this be my period?
(I am not trying to have a baby just yet)

It's possible it is your period starting. See what happens over the next few days. If you don't get a period, see your doctor or you could try one last pregnancy test, but do so first thing in the morning. Very early in a suspected pregnancy is it best to use first morning urine as it will have a higher concentration of the hormone associated with pregnancy (because you haven't been drinking as you would throughout the day). If you were several weeks into a possible pregnancy there is usually enough hcg to be able to get an accurate result anytime you test.

It may be that you are just going to have a late period this month or skip a month, which can sometimes happen.
