My ex boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years. Over this period he lost his job and got his car repossessed. I agreed to pay the balance, which was $1,750. Also, he used my eBay account to buy himself a play station and gun accessories. He then got a new job and has been promoted to assistant manager so he is making money. He agreed to pay back the total amount of $1,970 in small payments of $150 out of each paycheck.. until we broke up... (this relationship was very unhealthy for the both of us.) After breaking up I tried to get him to sign a contract so we could have a physical agreement but he refused. After some arguments, he refuses to give me any money or the eBay items back like I asked. He said the only way he will sign the agreement is if we get back together which I do not want. He did leave behind his TV and a piece of furniture.

My question is: without a written agreement, do I have a case and is it even worth suing him? Or should I just leave it alone and let it be a lesson learned?
