    Precancerous cells in pregnancy
I'm 23 years old with a 4 year old son and am currently 28 weeks pregnant with my second child(a girl, yayy!).. I have a history of hpv and hsv2. My paper smears have always came back abnormal, but this time my doctor seemed really concerned. He stated that I had "moderate precancerous cells" and that they would need to be looked at closer at my next 2week appointment through a colposcopy. He also stated that if it were too extreme, I'd need to deliver early, but hopefully it could wait until after delivery. I'm very upset and forgot to ask questions as I was just a little spaced after he told me this. If I do have to deliver early, how early? Will I still be able to have her vaginally? Does this effect the baby at all? Is it okay to do a colposcopy during the late stages of pregnancy? How often does this happen? I want to be around to see my babies' get big... I'm a little lost at this point. Please help.
