My mother had false negative pregnancy tests up to three months when pregnant with me. I have still not had my period I'm a weeek and a half late. Never been late very regular period. Have several pregnancy symptoms. Do I have a higher chance of reading false negatives?

Of course a week is not really "that late" and from time to time women do have late or even a missed period. ( not all of course but some)

Also tests are better today than they were most likely when you were born. Although false negative still happen. Have you taken a pregnancy test yet?
