So I told the court that my dad suffers from mental illness associated with mood or anxiety disorder. He claims I violated his Hipaa rights. I am his son not his therapist or doctor. I am a social worker so he's mad. Clearly delusional but looking for more clarification.

HIPAA protects patients from having their medical diagnosis and treatment revealed by their medical practitioner without permission.

Since you were not his medical provider and you were under oath in court. You did not violate HIPAA. Of course his attorney should have objected that you were not qualified to make such a judgment.
