    EtG question
    I do random EtG urine tests but am confused because I am on a regular test how far back does it go? I have been told there's andvanced EtG

    EtG (ethylglucoronide) is related to dose (how much consumed). I am unaware of "advanced" EtG testing. It is either present or it is not. Once again, EtG is proportional to the amount of alcohol consumed as EtG is a direct metabolite of EtOH.

    The test facility I go to say they only test back 8 hours so would my cut off be 500? Also I had a 16 oz beer 40 hours before my test what are my chances of passing? I work in 100 degree heat and sweat like crazy I have a active bladder as well I'm 34 yr old female

    I must tell you that this test and it's practitioners provide more entertainment that re-runs of the 3 stooges*.

    If you consumed 16oz of beer (1.33 standard drinks (US)) 40 hours before an EtG test... EtG will not be detectable regardless of cutoff.


    *I don't mean to diminish the life-altering consequences of this test. Only the lack of scientific evidence in support of the claims.
