I have a rapid flashing light code error
Hello, I just bought a new control board for my carrier furnace and did the replacement but now I have an error, so my question is would you reverse line polarity first or control leads ? I am afraid of ruining the board if I do the wrong one first, but I have read a lot of questions and most of them say to reverse the control voltage leads ? Also the replacement instructions were very detailed and easy to do, and the wires are in the spots it called for so this is why I'm unsure to switch wiring ? And my old board #HK42FZ009 and my new board is an ICM282A thank's for your help

If you DID NOT remove and reinstall any power supply wires going to the furnace(115v) then you have the board wired wrong. Start with looking at your low voltage connection on the board you may have Sec1 and Sec2 reversed.
