    False name and citizenship
I was born in japan and travelled to the philippines with a REAL NAME (I will not mention my name for safety) when I came to the philippines I was 3 yrs old and live with my grandfAther. Not knowning that my grandfather used a different name in my studies elementary, high school and college. I recently found out the it was not my real name with my grandfather died because in that time my mother show up after she left me with my grandfather for 18 yrs or longer. This time my mother told me my REAL NAME AND WHERE I WAS BORN. My grandfather used a fake birth certificate to be used in my studies. Here are my problems.
-my age is above18 so dual citizenship is not aplicable, I want to use my japanese citizen do I need the confirmation of my father (whom I didn't know) but he knows me because I was born and lived in japan for 2 yrs. How to do that?
-can I change the name of my school records to my REAL NAME?
THANK YOU FOR READING MY QUESTION I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME. Thank you again.

Other then your "real" name has your mother provided you with your real birth certificate or with a means to get a copy of it?

That is where your going to have to start at. Then you have a name change through the courts. After that you can have your records amended. If you can travel there may be a japanese consulate near you and you can go to them for advice.

But what's stopping you from contacting the agency in Japan which keeps birth records and requesting a genuine birth certificate? Is your mother still available to attest to your identity?

    >> I don't have any proof that I am the son of my father and to add it up my mother used a different name in japan so she has no valid identification that will proof that she is my mother inputted on the authentic birth certificate. Also am afraid that I will be deported to japan, I don't know how to speak Japanese and don't know anyone in Japan.
When my mother left me in the care of my grandfather my passport(with the real name and japanese citizen) was loss by mother. I can't get any of the government i.d example like drivers licences, voters id, passport and other more.

    ...

She knows what her name was when she gave birth to you, right? She should be able to sign an affidavit proving that, which should satisfy the Japanese authorities.

Why would the Philippine government even know it if you were to contact Japan and trying to get the BC?

    >> Thank you for that answer, but would the Japanese authorities ask for my mother's identification as I proof? She can't provide any of it because all of her i.d are in her real name. The name of my mother in my birth certificate in japan uses her fake name. I just assumed that the japanese will contact the philippines. If all have been proven correct, it means that am over staying in the philippines and I will be deported to japan?
