How to correct the past from 1120 to a 1120s

I opened a company and sent in several 2553 Elections forms but somehow the IRS said they never received them. They classified me as a 1120 in which wanted to be a 1120S. All my returns are a 1120S and they are not accepting them.
Is impossible to get this corrected?
