How do you file for a discovery without a lawyer
My friend is in the midddle of a divorce his soon to be ex is taking him to civil court for his car claiming that she is in school. However this is not true and she also doesn't have her drivers license. He can't afford an attorney for civil court because he still has to pay for his divorce lawyer so can he file a discovery without a lawyer in civil court.

She should bring this up in the divorce action. I don't understand how her desire to go to school has anything to do with a lawsuit concerning a car.

She wants his car to go to school? Again, that should be decided in the divorce action.

Depends on the Small Claims Rules for whichever state or country you are in. Some allow it. Some don't.
